Alet’s areas of practice include attending to residential and commercial transfers, mortgage bonds for major commercial banks, commercial property finance bonds, notarial bonds, servitudes, general notarial work, sub-divisions and township establishment, establishment of sectional schemes, sectional transfers, establishment of trusts and the drafting and settling bills of cost.
Olwethu practices as an associate in the commercial dispute resolution department. She joined Knowles Husain Lindsay Inc. in 2017 as a candidate attorney and was admitted as an attorney in 2019. She has experience in Magistrate Court and High Court Litigation including commercial arbitrations and Labour law. She has appeared before the Magistrate Court and has co-drafted legal opinions for the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa.
Olwethu has also had a short stint practicing as part of Sun International South Africa’s in-house legal team where she acted as a legal advisor and gained perspective into the legal and business expectations of the client.
